Jackson Oyler.

Jackson is an emerging fashion designer from Virginia. A self-taught maker, he is developing his voice through sketching and sewing, giving inherited details and overlooked materials new form.

Research and direction
Vintage references, front-and-back drawings and reclaimed garments shaped the direction before construction began.

Denim and lace sit beside a reclaimed button-up, balancing structure, softness and contrast.

The sewing study records the finished front, corset-style back and the details that turned the drawings into form.
